I think you missed my point.

I wasn't commenting on your point, I was just making an observation.

I was on hold last night hoping to get in a question to John.

I wanted to ask when Victoria Jackson would be back to guest host and how he would handle writing for her.

Sadly, I was too late.

Boooo-urns.

Milo's conversation with Bryce was an obvious highlight. And this line from Milo, later in the same call - "Bryce is my favorite.........person who calls the show."
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Yeah, Milo's call was probably the best of the night. I was even interested in this Cabin of his.

Yeah, I think Milo seems more comfortable talking on the air.

Dave, I really liked your story last week.

I went to see comedian Rich Vos once and he asked the audience: "Are there any racists here?"

This wasted sorority girl started waving her hands and shouting: "ME! I am, I am!"

STUNNED SILENCE.

Vos asked: Really? You hate black people?

She replies: "Oh, I thought you said waitress."

Biggest laugh of the night.

Since when has anyone who ever listened to Dinosaur Jr. cared about the lyrics?

That is just crazy talk. The lyrics to YOU'RE LIVING ALL OVER ME work in perfect tandem with the music. The combination of the two makes it a masterpiece.

Tom.

Fantastic show last night.

I was disappointed, though, to hear Tom mention a tweet of mine from earlier in the night when I proposed a drinking game where everyone drinks when Tom says "literally." I was joking. Tom said it was offensive (although he could have been joking, too, to be fair).

Just wanted to say no offense was meant and I am a jack ass.

Also wanted on Christina's call about Larry D. Perv being genteel. I've been thinking the same thing about him recently. He seems to genuinely mean no harm, like last week when he was calling to wish his "dear friend" happy birthday, or last night when he wanted to wish everyone a happy summer. Sure, it's a ploy for attention in a lot of ways, but I think he means it. The guy is endearing. I enjoy his calls and Tom's ribbing of him.

A few of my favorite things from last nite's show:

"Silver Bye-bye" (I'm shocked, SHOCKED that Mr. Mulaney was not familiar with this term).

"Pant Rummage" (An old favorite, haven't heard that phrase for a little while).

Also, I enjoyed the notion of Larry D. Pervison dictating all of his emails into voice recognition softweah, deah.

For the record, that Brendon (?Brendan) from Washington DC totally sounds like Alan Alda.

Tom during Geneva's call about Superchunk:

Tom (normal volume): What's your favorite song by them?

Geneva: Umm, well, I don't know...

Tom (quietly): the logical song?

The talk about Michael Phelps. I feel better in the water than on dry land.
