then getting aggrieved that the dude from Houston didn't know he was kidding.

I also liked the dude from Houston, slowly realizing his hatred for Thomas Kinkade.

I've been enjoying Tom's recent indulgences in spontaneous songwriting.

Including:

  The Duuuudes ...

Are doing it for themselves  (as well!)

They're doing it for themselves (as well!)

("Answer song" to Aretha Franklin)

If anybody can bring back the venerated pop tradition of the "answer song", it's Kid Jersey. Tom could be a one-man Brill Building for the 21st century.

... and Candy from Brooklyn could be his Ronnie Spector.

minibryce

I liked Minibryce too.  That was easily my favorite part of the show.
Sounds like someone was working as a conduit for nature's natural vengeance.  Just like Jesus.  And some of the others.

I loved how much Candace's singing tickled Tom.

Just watched that "Salt in the Wound" video.  The vultures in their little turbans were cute.

I couldn't figure out what song that was.  Then again, it took me two listens to identify "Angel of Harlem" last time.

Me either, so I googled a line & found it on one of those annoying lyrics websites, you know the ones that have 50 pop-ups encouraging you to make the song into a ringtone? It's an Olivia Newton John song.

That Candace. Bonkers.
Remember how he couldn't stop his leg?

The frosting on that call was the followup call from Austin dude, who said he was going to have stomach issues from the singing, then GOMP

Was that Milo who called up as Bryce?  Like all of his calls it was entertaining and cute, with just a dash of "Why is a 10 year old calling in at 11pm every week?"

While I enjoy Candace and her musical visits, I can't shake the feeling that a "Candy Says...'hang up on me!'" Heave-Ho from Tom this week would have been an epic callback given its earlier place in the show.
This may be the year I will disappear.

I'm completely smitten with Candace's calls.

He's home-schooled? I don't know the details of these things...

I'm not even saying he should definitely be in bed, it's just a bit bizarre.

I'd like to hear his Timmy von Trimble next time.

Milo lives in Indiana, right? And isn't Indiana in the Central time zone meaning they're an hour behind the East coast so it's only 10 pm which isn't that bad.

And he's not home schooled. Last week he talked about how he was looking forward to starting school where in a class with about 50 kids. Quite frankly with overcrowding like that he might be better off being home schooled.

What is the store whose demise Sue Jean called in to report?  I've played it back four times and can't make it out.
