Was that Milo who called up as Bryce?  Like all of his calls it was entertaining and cute, with just a dash of "Why is a 10 year old calling in at 11pm every week?"

He's home-schooled? I don't know the details of these things...

Milo lives in Indiana, right? And isn't Indiana in the Central time zone meaning they're an hour behind the East coast so it's only 10 pm which isn't that bad.

And he's not home schooled. Last week he talked about how he was looking forward to starting school where in a class with about 50 kids. Quite frankly with overcrowding like that he might be better off being home schooled.

Eric,

We (Indiana) got moved into the Eastern time Zone after switching from Eastern in the Fall to Central in the Spring for many years. Confusing, but it meant at least in the summer I could watch SCTV or Letterman because it was on earlier.

As for the school thing, I hadn't heard his call on the Wally/Hatch show until today. I tuned in late the night of the show. 50 kids is a huge class size, to be sure.

That was a good Bryce impression Milo but I like to hear what you have to say. I hope you call as yourself next time. Good luck in school this year.

Great moment: Tom name-checking The Frogs, who I had not previously heard but am currently really enjoying.  Also going to assist me in a long-standing debate with a friend over Wisconsin music vs Minnesota music.

Why aren't you in Antarctica with the other kiddies under the age of 25?

Wouldn't the Derek and Clive albums be considered a no audience album?

Favorite moment: Tom namedropping "The Young Ones."  Also, his theme song for "Sarsaparilla 1-2-3."

Er, "Sasparilla 1-2-3."

Don't forget about the Chicago suburbs/Evansville area.  Those parts of Indiana are on Central Time.

To clarify, Milo is in a multi-age classroom; k-3 are taught by one teacher, 4-6 by another, and they also have time when the entire class interacts.  It's a very good environment (but maybe not for everybody).

Does he talk to his classmates about The Best Show? I ask because I remember trying to tell my 4th grade pals about things that were not A-Team related and getting nowhere with them.

amiright??

Wouldn't Dud count as the audience there?

had I not be completely nervous about talking shop, I probably would've remembered "Derek & Clive" or "Don Rickles Speaks." Though the latter has no audience it does have other people on it.

You sounded pretty mellow for a nervous guy!
