I tuned in at 11. I haven't listened live since Aug 10 show and I've only just finished the Aug 31 show (I was working 50 hours a week from mid Aug to just a couple of weeks ago, so I'm about 2 months behind on anything that has been happening). I was in stitches for the whole hour. "Dad gets mad."

Jack Oblivian bootlegging Fredericks' podcast.

Originally, Tom told me he didn't see anything/anyone (see podcast).

I was extremely comforted during that part of the call.

The Oblivians did kick it.

Perfect use of apostrophe.

Perfect use of apostrophe.

So you're plural?

Sorry, but Strunk is dead wrong on this one.

If you're saying that using an s to form the possessive of a proper noun that ends with s is incorrect, then that's dead wrong.  There are exceptions where the apostrophe alone is correct, but Fredericks isn't one of them.

Jack Oblivian bootlegging Fredericks' podcast.

I finally listened to FONPR's Gonefest Podcasts.

The interview with Tom put me in mind of either the reconstructed recording of a smashed cassette tape found at a murder scene in some police procedural show OR what it might sound like inside the head of the guy who shoots Barry Champlain at the end of "Talk Radio."

Greeting Milo: "What up son?"

Not sure why, but it killed me.

I'm saying that I don't follow rules I don't agree with. Fredericks's is ugly and unwieldy to pronounce.  As someone whose last name ends with "s" I have a lifetime of making this decision for myself.

Someone has to stand up to your grammatical tyranny.
