- Hearing about the teenage Mike's trip to see The Wall. A Pink Floyd cake by his friend's aunt? Insane.

I loved Tom's entire conversation with Pat from Toronto but my favorite was him bursting into "Young Canadians" at the same time Pat revealed he was calling because of 127 hours. Pretty good timing.
Doing it Mentos style.

Could someone point me to the minute/second mark in this week's archived show (not podcast) where I can find the "made mayonnaise" comment?  I had to jump around in the show this week and I think I missed it.

Thanks,
Jon

You know what I didn't like? When Tom asked O'Neil from Orlando what color the tile in his room was, he said "doo doo brown".

That makes two Best Show callers from Florida who are partial to that phrase.

Wow, I must've missed the first caller - who was that?

Sorry. I was referring to Uncle Luke. He once penned the lyrics "doo doo brown."

On the podcast (sorry), Jdrnninen calls at 1:13:29 (1:32:05 from the end, which must correlate w/the archive -?) and rapidly self-destructs to the best-ever "I made mayonnaise" circa 1:14:40 (1:30:54 from the end).  Even though you know precisely when it's coming, it will still startle you.  In the best way.

Thank you for facilitating me listening to it 87 times to get the timing down,

I missed this somehow 1st time around - Tom improving Young Canadians lyrics ... something about "Ain't there one damn Rush song that can make me break down & cry"

-O'Neil having to switch rooms because his dirty shoes are ruining the carpet.  What does this guy do for a living?  Maybe it is all the pine tar and tobacco spit from the dugouts, he plays for the Rangers I think, he kept talking about how "we" were in the World Series.

-About 8-10 years ago I was obsessed with Tom Waits.  I listened to him pretty much every second of the day for a handful of years.  I dated 2 girls during that time period and they both hated him.  The next girl I met loved him, and I married her.  Turns out both those other girls are huge Tom Waits fans now

I had no idea that Archie Bunker was executed at the end of the show.    I guess TVLand never shows those episodes.     I have learned so much from this show!

Tom threatening the zodiac killer.

I was laughing so hard I lost my ability to speak.

I still lose it just thinking about it.
