I can't listen to the show live, but heard the podcast yesterday, and I'm keeping that one forever. The kid/old man bit was hilarious, but the Bruce Springsteen bit was the ultimate -- it kept me laughing almost the whole time. I don't know how Tom keeps it together as the tale grows and grows, until it seems like the collective laughs of the audience will topple the tower. Nice.
After Tom's description of "The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia", I had to watch it on Netflix, and while the behaviour shown is a world away from North Dakota, a few of the characters still came out as sympathetic, and they're passionate about their deviancy, you've got to give them that.
Awesome show, thanks to all involved!
