John Roderick is a gentleman. How dare you.

Double how dare you since he died in 2008.

I feel super hungover this a.m., and I wasn't even Loko.  Laughter headache + dehydration from tears/spit-takes, maybe?

Tom went from loving life to just being done with everything.  He said 3 things I often feel at the end of a night out:
- "I don't like anything."
- "I wanna go home."
- "I had 2 cans of 4Loko.  I'm sorry, everybody."

I love this show & hope everyone is okay.  Now bring mommy an Advil & keep your voices down.
"I am the shade of a person who was killed in a violent crime, and my spirit lingers here on earth because of the unfinished business that I have in life.  Could you play some Ke$ha?"

I'm completely unfamiliar with John Roderick, but did anyone else think he sounded like Seth Rogen? I thought he was a great guest, personally. He didn't say much, but he made me laugh more than once.

What else can you say about this show? Truly a one of a kind episode, and I can't remember the last time I laughed that much during a single episode. I wouldn't trade places with Tom when he wakes up this morning for ANYTHING, though. Sorry if that makes me an ape, but I can't imagine how bad that hangover is.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

My favorite line of the night:

John Hodgman:  "OH Saskrotch..."

The only song I'll sing right now is "One Week" by the Barenaked Ladies.

I really enjoyed Mike, out of nowhere late in the show, getting on mic and saying: "I'm gonna help myself to some cheese."

Tom saying Arrested Development isn't that good was audacious.  In vito, veritas de Tom.

But do you think Tom was saying that AD is bad or that it isn't as legendary as some people make it out to be?  If the latter, I sort of agree with him.  It's a really funny show, but I wouldn't put it on the same level as the first five seasons of The Simpsons or say it was as daring as Mr. Show was.

To be presumptuous, maybe Tom is in a general "I can do better than that!" mood when it comes to the state of comedy.

I've tried to get into arrested development a few times but could never get past one episode. But people say it's a grower.

A couple of my favorite moments:

- The way 80s Rick said that sad "Hello?" at the end of his sentence.
- Also, "I really loved what we did in my dream last night."
"You want me to recognize you and I won't. I won't acknowledge you! I deny you. So you keep begging and begging. The door is slammed on you. I want nothing to do with you. You will die unrecognized by me."

Incredible show last night. It went beyond anything I expected.

John Roderick was great, in my opinion. He wasn't the most verbose guest, but his quips were well timed and always got a laugh out of me.

I gotta go with Tom and yesno and Rhymes with Draper on the AD thing. Part of the problem was the show could never live up to all the hype from a lot of the fans, but it didn't do a lot for me.

I had no idea 4Loko came in such huge cans until I saw the pictures people posted on the Twitpic last night. I feel bad about wondering why Mike drank 'only' 2 cans last week.

Re-listening to the show, let me also add this:

Tom to Hodgman: "Did it bite you?"
"You want me to recognize you and I won't. I won't acknowledge you! I deny you. So you keep begging and begging. The door is slammed on you. I want nothing to do with you. You will die unrecognized by me."
