"Post office orifice"
And even though I own the LP, I really enjoyed hearing "Hand of Fate."
Most shocking was the appearance of Mr. Jack.
Agreed to all of the above, particularly the last.
It seemed like there were many throwbacks on this show - haven't heard from Spike in a while, and he was as true to form as ever, going on about something that only he knows about, and referring to Zach and Cody as a "teenybopper show".
*Also Steve in N. Hol checked in after what seems like a while - "You're transparent. Heave ho."
*It was sort of endearing to hear Andrew Earles coming across as diffident at times, since I'm used to that voice as one of his horrible characters calling in to taunt Tom. I also thought it was amusing in a "you can't win" kind of way that he's getting criticized for not addressing or cataloging the Husker Du gossip & drama. I mean, everything you read about Husker talks about that. Azzerad's chapter refers to it a bit but more to say that it was out there a foot thick during the band's run, and how some stuff was erroneous, etc. I'm gonna pick up a copy when I can.
*Loved how silly Kurt Vile is, esp compared to what music I've heard by him.
*More throwbacks, this time from PBR: didn't realize that I missed "Oblama" and "death panels" until he said them
*I also love when PBR uses quaint words to describe porn and strip clubs, etc - "she caught me using a gentleman's publication". I think I remember another time where he calls a strip club a "parlor".
