The Flintstones The Great Gazoo

The Great Gazoo! Me and my brother LOVED when he came on - we used to call each other Dumb Dumb in that awesome voice. Oh, Harvey Korman ....
Remember how he couldn't stop his leg?

Wasn't Gazoo marooned on Earth? Where's he always in such a hurry to leave to?

I loved:

1) Jon Corzine buying organic salmon at Trader Joe's.
2) The Wall of Laughs.
3) The Miami HEATles induction into the Hate Pit.
4) The fear of judgment from that bookstore in Princeton. That's a great bookstore but I'd be really afraid to buy Bababooey's book there, too.

The best call of the show had to do with these links:

Thanks for ruining the mystique, Spike.

Well, I ruined the mystique several months ago by hinting at where to find his Youtube channel (something I definitely regret doing).

WORST: Letting Roger Moore out of the HATE PIT!  This is a catastrophic mistake!

THAT was a fine moment. "That was the most normal paragraph in the entire book!" Really made me want to read it!

The call from Ron Scharpling was amazing.  I've been a listener for a few years, but I can't remember - is that the first peak we've had into the Scharpling family mythology, the multiple brothers with rhyming names, etc?  Really funny stuff.

No, I don't think so. I recall a call from Dom Scharpling as well...

Oh, I nearly forgot ... did anyone recognize Bob, that weird dude who called twice several months ago? I think on his first call I was queued right behind him - I think I said on air that he sounded like Jackie Vernon. Like, more of a pixilated rather than a drunk guy? This time out he said he's never called, but I'm pretty sure it was him.

Sure sounded like him. YOu're talking about the old dude who bitched Tom out last summer for not playing Stan Getz, right?

Does anyone know what was the date of the show when Tom was first talking about Christie and Corzine? I think it also had a lot of The H-Man and Wally. That was a GREAT show.

If it had a lot of the H-Man and Wally I'd start with the show in which the competed to be Tom's protoge. Sorry, I can't remember the eact date.

I'm going to try and get a copy this weekend when I pick up Patton's new book.
