I loved Spike's Sheldon impression and his frustration when Tom tried to do the "Stan Lee/Stanley" routine.

Did I hear this properly? The book of regulations. Love it.

I really, really hate to say anything nice about the guy - I just hate to mention him at all, knowing he might see this - but I'll repeat my take from last night: Spike re-established himself at the top of the regular caller pile last night. I need more of the Abbott & GOMPstello team.

The Hate Pit Tour was both amazing and terrifying. Fredericks, is that what it's like in your head all the time?

Worst part: Tom refusing to admit that he's in Blockbuster's pocket. Rumor is, he gets five day rentals on new releases for his attempts to undermine Netflix.
This may be the year I will disappear.

Does Blockbuster still have VHS tapes? The last time I went to one was about three years ago and that was half their selection.

Spike trying to address Tom as "pet."

My favorites: Tom's reaction to being addressed as "pet". . .and Hate pit tour. I'd pay to go on that ride again.

To note, I'm watching the Tool T-shirt video, and Drenen looks much different than I imagined, that is, he's much hotter in video than on the radio. Kudos for the well-done video and the chops.

Why would you be reluctant to praise Spike, pet?  He's a living legend!

Yes, you're not allowed to go to the library either. Didn't you hear?

Gimme a break. Every time I tried watching Netflix streaming it was all skippy and made the movie watching experience into pure garbage. So I stopped. If it's better now, then bully for all of us.

And if I'm going under the microscope for everything I say in the three hours, you are all coming with me. ALL OF YOU!

Tom.

Oh, Tom. You are the king.  Being mocked by you on the air was delightful. Seriously.

Worst: Not hearing 99% of it because I was camping out in Terminal A of the Detroit Airport.

This malapropism, along with "Book of Regulations".

the show was awesome
Tom always finds a way to get to a new gear.

The theater of the mind stuff with Mike, adding Dracula  to the cast of Newbridge
the random explosions to end the calls. All great.

One tiny little thing
that bothered me
Tom saying he got "gyp'd" on the record he bought
I know we all grew up on it, but this is actually a nasty little phrase.

The show is taking even longer to appear on iTunes these days. I wanted to download it so I could play a sample to someone, the no flash mp3 link on wfmu doesn't allow you to skim through it.
