'HOW I BEAT YOUR MOTHER' is right up there with 'GENERAL HOSPITAL'. Both are pieces of crap.

Well, that's me told!

In fairness HIMYM is very hit and miss.  Blame it on my fondness of Jason Segal. Freaks and Geeks forever.

I stand by my Nick Offerman comment.

Re: Big Bang Theory, all my geek friends watch it, which is another way of saying all my friends watch it. I've seen it a few times and I like it, but I don't watch it regularly like say Parks and Recreation.

and am I the only person here who (Sorry, Spike) doesn't like the Big Bang Theory and doesn't understand why that guy keeps winning all the awards (add a Golden Globe last night to the list) There are so many better shows... 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, Community...even HIMYM (on a good day) is preferable to me. Someone get Nick Offerman a Globe/Emmy/People's Choice award for his portrayal of Ron Swanson on Parks & Recreation please.

Big Bang Theory is not my favorite show (I have seen about five episodes or so, but I don't make any effort to watch it), but speaking as an actor, what Jim Parsons does as a performer is astounding.

That said, once you give him the emmy, which I believe they did, they oughtta start spreading it around.

I see people watch Big Bang Theory in the library and none of them laugh at it. They just look at it.

What's this General Hospital animosity, Spike?

It is the one soap I never got into. I never understood the whole "LUKE AND LAURA" craze.   ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

The call right after that weird explosion had a loud operator message over it, and the guy couldn't get a sentence out (while Tom, of course, acted as if nothing strange was happening).  Then the noise stops and the guy says half a word and is immediately hung up on.

I'd hate to be that guy, but that was soo great.

Those names! Nimnintz? I can't get over how funny that was.

And I'm loving these friends in the studio with Tom. It was great hearing him with Therese (Happy Birthday) and Mike.

Also, hearing Tom crack up at that joke about not wanting to clean out a gutted bus. Peals of sunshine.
Doing it Mentos style.

Imagining a show made up of flashbacks of arguments between two postgrad douchebags.

Just so I'm clear, this is the show starting Doggie Howser, right?
I'll probably go into the wee hours.
