Define "you."

Yes.

THIS. This. A thousand times this.

I always think anything involving Mike is full of win, but I have to admit I laughed louder at "You should've heard what he was bragging about before the show... he found a nickel on the sidewalk...'Nobody came back for it...It's mine now!'"

saloon doors for the smut section of video stores.

my father used to make me hang out in a barber shop that also rented videos - it was called, appropriately, Video Salon.  video store in front, barbershop in back.  the owner had saloon doors in front of the XXX tapes; man that place was creepy.

I loved the talk about Larry Sanders show. I recently went on a binge and finished up the series. I'm pretty good at suspension of disbelief but it was a strain to believe that all those good looking young starlets would want to have sex with someone who looked like Garry Shandling.

I hope it's not too late to throw my hat into the ring for the protege position.

I guess there's really no chance of H-Man making a comeback now.

It is the one soap I never got into.

What did you think of Santa Barbara, Spike?

I would like to hear the protege candidates rant about something as part of their protege audition. It's not the focus of the show, but I would have a hard time with a Best Show that didn't have some ranting involved, or at least the mocking of something to great comedic effect.

I'd also find it fitting if each had to nominate some one to be thrown into the Hate Pit.

in respect of the protege situation.... the last couple shows are the first I've heard of this (previous stuff before my time/on an archive i didn't get to yet.).....is this serious, semi-serious, or not serious at all? If I'm stepping on a in-joke/reference I don't get landmine, forgive me.

Like is Tom really getting ready to leave?
Surely there can be no Best Show with out Tom himself?

Tom's will is the wind's will, but here's a hint as to how straight to take the protege business: Is Ken Friedman really just gonna stand by while Tom turns over the slot to whomever he hand-picks?
