I love whenever Jason from Alabama calls in and reveals more about himself. Im jealous of his community college now. You can't beat a George Wallace community college.

It's too bad the college is actually named after this guy:

I forgot to mention that I was 30th in my graduating class at Cedric the Entertainer High School (home of the Fightin' Fedoras.)*

I think I realize why I have love it so much when Tom mutes himself and talks over people, beyond it just being so funny.  It's like being telepathically linked with someone for a brief time and getting to hear their mocking, critical, impromptu inner thoughts about another person. It's literally the ultimate inside joke.  I don't want Tom to overkill it, but I'd love for him to do it more.

The "Help me!" story was one of the funniest things I've ever heard, but I have to admit that, if a friend did that in front of me, I might think they had some sort of deep psychological problems.

12 years later and I still have that coat. You know what else I got? This bad boy.

I always like when that old guy calls Tom, but i wish he would have shut  the next caller who wished cancer on him up. Didn't  that guy say he had cancer once? I wished Tom would have dropped that on that guys head.

I didn't know that Stan Getz and Olivia Munn's fanbases had any overlap.

Tom's storytime was one of the longest uninterrupted-by-a-phone-call segments in a while. A wonderful monologue. Makes me wonder how much the callers actually offer. The Best Show needs more Tom.

His impression of and inexplicable hatred for Ricky Gervais' laugh: high point.

Both seconded. Really enjoyed the trip story. And boy, am I learning about basketball nowadays.

Downside: Those calls took a strange late turn.

Don's call was my favorite part of the episode. Don's got a unique sentiment and view of the world that you don't hear very often on the show. A respect for goddesses and no fear when it comes to having Tom haunting his dreams.

No kidding. But she really is the worst "reporter" on "The Daily Show".

"Saturday Night Live" was a nice little touch in that Wurster call.

I thought that was one of the stronger Wurster calls in some time. And I certainly thought that if I were Sammy Hagar's sibling I'd want to be known as "'Gar" Hagar...

Julie sounded downright lucid last night.

it kinda warmed my heart

Yeah, it was nice. Even in her least luciod moments Julie always sounded like a real sweetheart... But when she discussed dog power why was Yetta not in the conversation?
