Best quote paraphrased: "I feel kinda bad for saying this, but I'm actually more shocked at the small movie rental store on the right in the background being an operating entity than I am shocked seeing a monkey in a pink diaper off a van."

I must see this picture!!!!  I am going bananas trying to find it.....

JAMES FROM SOUTHEAST PA: Quick question, how is my cell phone connection...am I coming in clear?

TOM: It's decent.

JAMES: Is it good enough to go on?

TOM: Mike? A ruling? [LISTENS FOR MIKE] Mike wants you to say, uh, "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy, uh, the lazy dog."

JAMES: Chris Brown jumped over the lazy dog?

TOM: Mike? Mike says you can go forward. He says the audio is of a passable quality.

----------

I also really loved the confusion over how James pronounced "protégé."

I thought thats what I heard
pretty sweet.

Can anyone put me in touch with Myron Felkerton? I'd like to find out how to access the "beyond" sector of Bed Bath & Beyond.

Mr. Rob Lowe obviously hasn't met Myron Felkerton.....yet

I don't know what is more funny, the monkey hanging out the window or J and Silent Bob hanging out in front of a video store.

I think that my favorite moment of the last show was hearing Tom crack-up after the surprise ending to Jon Wurster's call. Whenever that happens it's a brief glimpse into the great friendship those two must have.

I love that, at first it seems like revealing Mr. Felkerton as a perfect human specimen explains all the "secrets" he's discovered.  But then you think about it, and how does being beautiful explain being trapped inside the movie "Trading Places" ?

If you're not a job creator, you better step the fuck away from that hot dog machine.

Apologize for "SHETALLICA"? YES. Should I beg and grovel for forgiveness? I THINK NOT, PETS. Time for me to infiltrate the Tea Party Collective. CIAO, PETS.

Spike -

Maybe it's time that you ACTUALLY APOLOGIZE FOR IT THEN instead of haughtily brushing by the concept of apologizing. You cursed on the air! Apologize! Who asked you to beg and grovel?!

APOLOGIZE.

Tom.

My favorite moment of the year so far (from 4/12 show) was Tom putting forth the idea that our society really is moving forward, citing as evidence the fact that know-nothing slobs are enjoying sushi in 2011.

I'm genuinely not trying to make fun of anything here, but exactly what kinds of tasks could a monkey be trained to do that a mentally retarded person would be incapable of doing themselves?

A small bit from the show I liked- when a caller asked if Angus (who I hope calls back. I like having a kid call in) was a male or female Tom kind of angrily replied "It's a boy of course. Heave ho." I'm in my thirties and I still get called "M'am" on the phone so I liked Tom sticking up for the high voiced.

Also, it's a little embarrasing that a photo of me was the inspiration for this week's Tom & Jon call. Jon Hamm face on the Old Spice guy's body? Who else could it be?
