Tom: (on the show being called "too local") "Should I do the show on the astral plane?"

One of the funniest things ever uttered.

And what's more, local is "IN" right now, yes?
Remember how he couldn't stop his leg?

amiright??

What on Earth is Tom imitating at the end of the new Best Show Intro?  George Lopez slipping on a banana peel?

- new show audio collage intro! love it!

Oh hell, out of the mix. And apparently I got heave ho'd too. (Wait. Heave hoe'd?)

Oh well, I had a good run, and it's not like I'm going anywhere just cause my powers are diminished. We'll just call them the sunset years.

You'll be back, Dave.
I was fortunate to be in the opening montage for way longer than I should have been, and having Mike's "Don't you know I'm loco?" more than makes up for getting booted.

1000 fights was a pretty iconic moment, though.

Woodsy and The Leader back to back?  Can Tor and Gord be far behind?
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

I'm listening a little over two months behind the rest of you, and it's like an awesome time warp.  I get to hear the funny stuff from Tuesday night's episode a few weeks from now and remember you all laughing about it.

Right now I've just been laughing with my headphones on in a bagel shop, probably everyone there thinks I'm crazy.

I don't care; no offense to the other very funny people who call the show, but Todd Barry is probably the funniest standup comedian working these days, and his comedy is perfect for the Best Show.  I met him briefly after a show in Chapel Hill, and he was a nice guy, too.

Didn't Captain Jack call a couple of months ago?
