Clark sounded alarmingly Ben Kharakh-like during tonight's call.

What if he ate Ben and gained his strength, Kraven the Hunter style?

I think it's more of a Borg thing.

'De Callers, De Callers!"

For some reason, I never saw Fantasy Island when it was on originally. I saw it for the first time a couple of years ago, and the episode I saw was possibly the weirdest prime-time show I have ever seen.

Like, Venison Stew Clark?  All the old, er, heroes are returning.

The taste tester becomes the taste tested!

Clark's previous call happened on the sixth anniversary of 9/11. His return happened on the 18th anniversary of GG Allin's passing. The man knows how to pick his spots, though he may have been upstaged by Farol Amadeus for call of the night.
This may be the year I will disappear.

I lost it hearing Tom's beat-style "Glutton" ad-lib.

Pretty much made my day.

Tom's intro to the show was absolute fantastic.

"Pull over there! There's a Sabarro's!"

Kevin Smith's Bong Repair, followed by Fred MacMurray talk...

I couldn't listen live last night save for about 5 minutes. The first 25-minutes or so is LEGEND.

Does anyone know the identity of the extremely famous political pundit that called in last night? Some in the chat were saying it was Anderson Cooper, but Cooper's late-night shirtless jogging schedule would have most likely prevented him from calling in. Also, the caller's truth-telling barbs seemed to lack a 360-degree perspective. I'm guessing it was either James Carville (who was also suggested in the chat) or Chris Matthews.

The Italian pop music / piano recital of abbreviated classics / home repair symphony that accompanied Tom's dining experience was certainly the best.

I was impressed that Tom was able to turn a two year ban into an essay assignment / beatnik poetry reading pretty quickly. I'm excited to see how this plays out. No offense to him, but Amadeus does realize that you can enjoy the show just as much without calling in, right?
