I loved the "guess Tom's favorite Eagles song" segment. Classic Best Show! (Surprised no one guessed "James Dean". That song sucks.)

last week's show:
best - not just the kazoo douche but the guy right after who sang "dancing in heaven" by q-feel, i can't stop thinking about that. also the name "bathroom bible stories for teenagers" from the wurster call
worst - that one sycophant who didn't even understand what the topic was and spun his call into a promo for his book

last night's show:
best - tom thinking that andy kindler's podcast co-host is an elvis impersonator, the phrase "the thrust of the documentary", roxy's boyfriend talking about the gross burrito he ate, kyle maclachlan was mr. big on sex in the city
worst - the last call

That was maybe the best bad company of all time. It was the total package.

I was so frustrated by that Bad Company; IIRC the dude kept finishing before the right moment and ended up GOMPed.

Tom's been giving dudes a lot of rope recently; I've heard Bad Company queue up way after I'd expect it, only for the dude in question to wrap up his dumb story just in time.

I found the timing strangely satisfying. It was a different effect than when the song cuts somebody off in mid-boring and it added some unusual tension and suspense.

Kurt Vile was next level funny this time around. His Bob Dylan and Robin Leech absolutely destroyed me. Tom was also operating at WFMU levels of surliness and it was just a joy. His thrashing of Improv Kazoo Douche is gonna be one of the highlights of my year.

That Marcus guy who keeps calling at the end of the show is a 21st-century Rupert Pupkin.

I don't really mind that guy if I'm being honest. I'd like to see if he improves after Tom housebreaks him a little.
