Another couple I forgot:

Caller: "So I got Kyle Glass's autograph instead. It didn't make up for it, but..."
H-Man: "Good ol' KG."
Tom: "Yeah, Kyle Glass. You a big Kyle Glass fan?"

As a big Laurie from Miami fan, I regret having to say she turfed out pretty hard. Bush league call.

Man, lots of great stuff from this one. I just remembered that Tom worked in Judge Smails' "The world needs ditchdiggers, too" line.

on the relisten:

Erika whispering "He's a Nazi!" about Goebbels.
"Son, there's a thin line between crazed and rabid"

I'm not voting for Obama.

Not because he's black, but because of the Shepard Fairey stickers.

I know it's unlikely this will come off as anything more than a lame excuse, but I do actually know that Kyle's name is "Gass" and not "Glass". Admittedly for the first few months I was ever aware of the D I did think it was Glass, but I eventually got schooled. Apparently old habits die hard when I'm on the spot! Thankfully I didn't have to regret the gaff too much, because it made me laugh when I relistened, even while down in my cringing posture of shame.

Yeah, it made it funnier that you didn't catch on when Tom called you on it. Easy mistake to make.

Jables' reaction sounded more funny than dickish to me. Autographs are ludicrous anyway. (Says the guy who has a signed Tenacious D poster hanging in his garage.)

Hey, Itslikeimsayin, is your name a reference to J-Roc from Trailer Park Boys?  If so, Good on ya, sir!

I have to say it was funny and dickish all at the same time, which was kinda great because it confirmed the nature of his persona as a reality for me. Also, I get a huge kick out of it when Tom mocks other people who sound stupid on the radio, so I cannot love it any less just because it was me. No wound to salt!

No, it's a Mr. Show reference. Bob Odenkirk's character says it in a Three Times One Minus One sketch.

Picking a username from a Mr. Show sketch is so nerdy!
