I read KGB's internet message board post today.  Not too impressed.  It starts off pretty good, then fizzles out towards the end.  Color me not entertained!!
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

PBR saying he had a long history of booin'.

I'm still giggling at that.

I found Julie from Cincinatti's almost childlike regret as Tom expressed his disappointment in her to be weirdly, unexpectedly touching.

Also, huge props to Matt in Virginia! (I think I'm remembering the name right.) Is he the first caller in the history of the show to catch on, without prompting, to Tom's rendition of the climax of Good Will Hunting?

The Julie call was good, but it got great when she said what sounded like "rats." I could listen to that 100 more times.

Just got done listening to the 10/7 podcast.  Easily the best show of the year - killer from start to finish.

Todd Palin was great - "dump this guy"; "rebulations"; "It's what God wants".  Classic.

I thought I sensed a genuine regret on both ends which made it seem doubly bittersweet.  And perhaps kind of tragic, in a way.

I think the regret was all on my side. The Best Show will be better if I don't call for at least a month. I call too much and have nothing to say. I called last night only because I kept hearing that Tom was going to be angry and I wanted to get it over with.

I can't wait to get home tonight so that I can listen to the PBR call again. It was the funniest thing ever!
