It was Scott Weiland, actually.  He was staying at my hotel while he wrote that thing*.  He'd call me every night around 12:30 asking for more pens.  I'm told he tips well.

If this were FOTchan, I would make a slight alteration on the word "pens" in your quote.  But no ... this is the grown-up board.

But anyway ... this is true? You had the privilege of waiting on Weiland?

I remember back in the early days of Stone Temple Pilots, he simply went by the one word moniker "Weiland" instead of his full name. I thought that was the most pretentious thing ever.

I know I am going to regret typing this phrase, but I really like Larry the Perv.

I am also a fan, Emma.  I too, may regret this public declaration.

Perhaps you should revise that to "young ladies love larry":  I am indifferent to him.

Jeez. If I knew Larry was so popular, I would have added him to my ticket.

Indeed. The Newbridge perv demographic is a key voting bloc.

I'm a little late on this - a couple weeks back -- but Tom doing Seinfeld was the best.  Newman, Porsche jokes -- great stuff.

There's always cabinet posts to fill.  Maybe Director of Centerfold Preservation?

'Last nights' show was June 1, 2004. There were three separate moments that caused me to literally double over with laughter;

- Playing (I think) The Rockford Files murder music and screaming maniacally to hang up on people who fail to make him laugh
- Tom pretending to be a caller called Joey and repeating 'I like your style' 30 times to a blissfully ignorant Captain Jack
- Doing fake radio static and bad connection hang-ups when a potential bassist for the Medicinal Marijuana says he likes Jaco Pastorius.

I think his position in the cabinet should be related to linguistics.

I liked that the guy from New Port Richey (which is actually pretty close to here, and unremarkable) got my name wrong. Still, better than being called "That guy from Florida".

Sarah Palin just made a splash there--at a place called Sims Park, oddly enough.

Secretary of the Perpetually Horny?

pronounced Hor-nay, like Kim Basinger in Wayne's World 2.
