Not real, apparently.  I hope that's true.  If it isn't, well, it was bound to happen someday.

I literally prayed that it wasn't real, after I saw it.  But I haven't been able to find out for sure.

Indiana turns out to NOT be a dive state. My apologies for saying otherwise.

Tom.

No problem, Tom.  We're used to being misunderstood...as I imagine is New Jersey.

I stand by my assessment.

Being a jerk is preferable to being a put upon neurotic loser.  A win like Boston's in '04, or Obama's in '08, can lift the weight of history off of an entire group, and that kind of confidence can lead to more success (e.g. the Red Sox in '07).

But then again, things might not change all that much... a lot of Obama supporters were already pretty obnoxious.

Just listening to the podcast gave me a bit of the election night feeling of elation again.

yeah, jason's calls are always a rare treat.  On the other hand, I found the hero of the election, that kid from ohio, to be frighteningly precocious like from children of the damned - in terms of dialogue he was frighteningly articulate and sarcastic for an alleged 10 or 12 year old.

Sounds like someone was working as a conduit for nature's natural vengeance.  Just like Jesus.  And some of the others.

I'm delighted to have inspired Tom's Roger Moore rant and his rather good impressions.

Jason's call.

I agree. I think Jason spoke for all FOTs.
But until I get my hands on a shrink-ray, the archives will do.

Great call, Jason.
