I'm so glad that Fred from New Port Ritchie is becoming a regular caller. I wonder when he'll find the forums. I want to see threads with back and forths between Tor and NPR.

Fred from New Port Ritchie "We had wild turkey for dinner.  hahhhahahhaaa.  I am just kidding, we had regular turkey too."

The steadily growing anger that crept into Fredericks from New Port Richey's voice when Tom kept making fun of his laugh was intense.
This may be the year I will disappear.

I always enjoy hearing Tom's joy at a good call, and there was plenty of that last night.

Also, Julie's bizarre "relationship" with her friend.

I know, right?  Eventually he was just like "Can we get back to the Morton Downey thing?" and Tom was like "Yes".  I bet Tom was thinking "If I don't let this guy talk about Morton Downey Jr. he's going to be waiting for me in the parking lot next week".

Tom imitating Fred from New Port Ritchie's laughter.
"You want me to recognize you and I won't. I won't acknowledge you! I deny you. So you keep begging and begging. The door is slammed on you. I want nothing to do with you. You will die unrecognized by me."

We need to petition these guys (french fry place in Boulder)

http://spud-bros.com/

--of course they have a blog--

http://www.spudbrosblog.org/

to start carrying disco fries. You look at their menu, and the only thing they need to start carrying is gravy.

On topic,

the whole show was a best moment.  The Kid was on fire, the topic was great, the callers were great.

I have a marginally interesting disco fries anecdote I could share.

I woke my dog, who was sleeping in the other room, laughing at the gurgling Imus impersonation.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

New Port Richie is creeping closer to a Stevie Blue/CJ hybrid.

Wow. Just....wow.
I squirmed, I kid you not, I actually squirmed.
A fairly cordial call, other than that.

Squirm Factor 10!!

Well it's been a long time since I've had my favorite drink

Yeah, once I spent all of Christmas Day cheating on my wife and, wouldn't you know it, I forgot to open up presents!
That call was 8 shades of nuts.
