Bummed to lose Mike Sajak from the intro.

Sigh.

I should say that I love the new intro, but I will miss Mike's 'I'll get it, you'll hear it'.

Tom:  Who's good here, Mike?

(pause)

Tom:  Who's good here, Mike? ... FMU, you're on the air.

Fat Freddy:  Hey.  Hey, this is Fat Freddy*, up in Maine.

Tom: uuuuooooooh, I don't like this.

*I'm not joking one bit.  That guy is my dad.

Speaking of Patton, I had to listen to the 12/30/2008 show about three times before it dawned on me that the guy who called in early on, talking about how he needs "those FMU-Bucks!" was Patton.

Furthermore, Patton would probably be very upset with that run-on sentence I just wrote.

Best: PFT in studio, Tom's story of Apple's geniuses redeeming themselves and their titles

Worst: hearing Petey has taken up smoking, even after all those years of Tom's puberty chaperoning!
