Define "recent"

(Alright, alright ... if I post in this thread again, I'll try and include something from this millenium).

P.S. That hopping dude in the Goldfrapp video ... wow, he must have shins of steel. I can't imagine hopping on concrete for three minutes straight. It appears that video was shot in one continuous take. Very impressive.

Super Furry Animals - Runaway

Starring the excellent Matt Berry (who I suspect isn't much of a runner in real life) and directed by Richard Ayoade.

I'm sure most of the FOTs are more in tune with the kids these days than I am. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this video...

That's pretty much how I pictured that song (great song that is) in my head.

I love  Amiina so so so much, and I recently found this video of them playing their song "Seoul" live. Very low key, but really struck me for some reason. Just shows how beautiful music doesn't have to be complicated.

That was quite amazing, I thought.

I'm easily won over by the horrific and strange animation.

Probably the scariest use of ABBA footage out there - Ratatat. Shempi. It's not their best song, but the footage makes it FOT appropriate.

Here's one I really like - It's a great cover of a great wilco song:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FyFfXyY0xdU&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FyFfXyY0xdU&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

(I hope this works - I'm not particularly adept with youtube)
