Pottstown is the home of Daryl Hall of Hall and Oates fame. The only thing I know to come out of Pottsville is the football team, the Maroons.
Yeah, that's a weird sore spot with that town. A football team from the 20's that nobody every saw or knew anybody from it that somehow got robbed of the national championship is this weird cause.
Pottsville also had John O'Hara, a writer who was published in the New Yorker a lot and wrote the awesome novel Appointment in Samara.
Plus, like I said before, Yuengling. Delicious lifeblood of the coal country.
