Stabbed by a tent pole
« on: August 29, 2008, 03:43:04 PM »
I just returned from the St. Barnabas ER after having a shard of fiberglass tent pole removed from my finger.

I appreciated the poetry of this after my unceremonious "heave ho" last week.

Just thought I'd share.

That is exactly what I said as they removed the alien object from my flesh.

Thanks for the empathy, Emma.

I took my oldest son camping last weekend and he wanted to stab me with a tent pole, too.  Sorry yours got you.

Boy, that sucks.  Hope you're recovering nicely.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.
