I think that the Abba Box deserves an award but maybe it's year was really 2007 and not 2008.  Also, I can't imagine what award to give it but it really seemed to fill a supporting actor type of role.

- The World is in the Turlet (6.3.08)
- The Order of Everything (6.17.08)
- Spike v. Julie / Wednesday Rockets / Foo Fighters fan Brad (9.23.08)

Holy Shit "Turlet" was this year.  That's one of my favorite things that has ever happened, not just on TBSOWFMU, but in Life.  The Good Guys truly won in 2008.

I just listened to this song a few minutes ago.  It's going on my Best Songs of 2008 list for sure.

I think there should be a Best Best Show Fan Art category.

I nominate Regular Joe's portrait of Julie.  I know there are many strong contenders.

Now that you mention it, I'd definitely have to put that up there as one of the "best episode" contenders. It was a perfect mix of timing, creativity and enthusiasm, all culminating in these excellent performances from all involved. On nights like that one, the show goes beyond great radio into another zone entirely. It's pure art!

ps: It's an honor to be nominated for nomination. I would put forth for that category James' work on the many campaign websites! That was pretty amazing.

I like it when Henry "Chunklet" Owings gets gomped. Please add him to the list of nominees!
