This seems like a popular thing to do. Just burning posts. Burn, burn, burn...

hum...

Burn...

I'm going to go do something else now.

So, should I have toast or a bagel for breakfast?

Just wondering.

(Clearly, I have my motivations for 50. Sorry.)

Whole wheat. Also whole wheat bread.

My wife seems to only believe in whole wheat.

If you have cream cheese around, I'd say bagel. Otherwise, toast.

I had oatmeal with brown sugar and cinnamon this morning. Burn burn burn.

Might I suggest some onion and capers for that bagel. Maybe even some lox...

I had the cream cheese. Went that route.

We also have oatmeal. I usually pass on that.

I thought I didn't like cream cheese for decades. Finally as a grownup I had some on a bagel and I was stunned by what I'd been missing in my semi-health-conscious household growing up.

See also: mayonnaise

I believe I had my first cream cheese on a mini bagel at a reception for students interviewing for scholarships at the university I was about to enroll in. I literally had to go away to college to eat cream cheese. Also: Chinese food. Also: most other foods.

Thats all very startling! Were you raised with a family concerned with healthful food? What was you diet growing up?

Burn burn burn.

A good part of my childhood was spent at the health club where my mom taught aerobics and was a personal trainer. For many years, my parents did not eat red meat. Mayo and cream cheese and a couple other things were stuff my parents never bought, so it was never in the house, so I never had them.

What was your own eating like as a child?

Fancy. Yes, I live large.

'Sold on' doesn't begin to describe how I feel about that show after one 3 hours night.
