A friend told me to listen to The Champs (Neal Brennan, Moshe Kasher, DJ Douggpound). I don't know what I was expecting but so far it's 5 guys talking about the women they've slept with in great detail and a bunch of morning DJ sound effects in the background.

I was a little put off by it at first because it was extremely chaotic but it's slowly become one of my favorites. DJ Dougg Pound, editor of Tim and Eric as well as Portlandia, is the guy in charge of the sound effects. I feel like the way all the hosts and guests interact with them is pretty unique!

Wow, that's a lot. I picture someone sitting at a computer and holding an ipod, with one earbud in from each. A comedian doing a character to the right, a comedian laughing at their own ramblings to the left. Storm'd at with Squarespace and Bonobos. Rode the six hundred podcasts.

I enjoy every episode of:
The Best Show on WFMU with Tom Scharpling
Call Chelsea Peretti

I will listen to, when interested in the guest:
WTF with Marc Maron
The Todd Glass Show

I will occasionally marathon good episodes of:
Doug Loves Movies
The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest

Current list:

Never Not Funny
Put Your Hands Together
By the Way, In Conversation With Jeff Garlin (though I've only listened to the Larry David episode - I skipped Lena Dunham and Jeff Tweedy)
Owen & TJ Read the News
The Dana Gould Hour
Walking the Room
NNF Presents Rock Solid
Superego
The Smartest Man In the World
Doug Loves Movies
WTF

I had to drop The Todd Glass Show, as much as I enjoyed it at times, because the serious discussions (or rather, the same serious discussion over and over) killed the momentum of the silly bits and really wore me down after awhile.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I was in love with the Todd Glass show for a while, but it's lost something lately (or maybe I just have less time lately.)

I've kind of lost patience with it. It has good moments and good guests can make a big difference, but every time they start with 'Hello? Hello?' I want to throw my phone out the window. They really need to retire some of the bits.

The Dana Gould Hour (only when Eddie Peppitone isn't on)

In other words you don't like The Dana Gould Hour? (Because Eddie Pepitone has, to my memory, been on every episode)
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

The recent episode with Jen Kirkman and someone else was hilarious. Part of the problem is that Todd loves repeating bits and if you're not a fan of the bit in question it can wear on you.

I kinda loved the bit where they would play the Golden Girls theme and Daniel Kino would just make up "facts" about the show.

I started listening to that one figuring it for a can't-miss but the 40+ minute serious discussion right at the front strangled my desire to listen any further.

Agreed BTW about Rory Scovel being great every time he appears.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

He's been on all but two.  I try to get through episodes when he's doing the chat bit but I think he's a conversation killer and I just don't like his voice.

I have a high tolerance for repeating a bit to death (one of my favorite Twitter accounts is @KattWillFerrell), but the 'hello? hello!?' voice grates on me.

Agreed re: the Jen and other comedian show. The 'serious discussions' don't bother me.

The recent one with Henry Phillips I really liked. A lot of it's down to who's on the show.
