Dear Tom,

You and we would significantly benefit from your involvement in Wandering Rocks, an online reading group/social media experience that will start James Joyce's Ulysses, next Tuesday, June 16th...which is Bloomsday, the one day Ulysses depicts, June 16th, 1904. Check us out here, http://wanderingrox.wordpress.com

I am well acquainted with your aversion to snobs, and a reading group taking on such a formidable book may raise red flags. You have no cause for concern, however. We are solidly in the slob camp. But we nonetheless feel compelled to read what is considered THE BEST BOOK OF ALL TIME. Perhaps in preparation to write your own book, you should familiarize yourself with the competition?

The pace is not going to be intense (we read 1 page on day 1), so you'll have no worries about keeping up given your intense schedule.

And as esoteric as Ulysses may be, it's also profane fun. And in any case, you'll get throw James Joyce under the bus for being a toilet mouth.

Check out the blog, where most of the action will be ... http://wanderingrox.wordpress.com

THE BEST BOOK and THE BEST SHOW should collide.

Best,
Jerry
