When to listen (or not listen) the podcast...
« on: September 11, 2009, 08:30:03 PM »
I have been listening via podcast for over a year, thanks to Therese.  My work schedule usually keeps me from listening live.
I end up listening at the gym most of the time, but my constant snickering (or profuse sweating) gets me the stink eye from others.
Sometimes I start to lift and drop the weight on my foot.

Does any one have good times/bad times to listen to the podcast?

I stopped listening to the most recent episode live because I was bummed about not going to the FOT gathering so I thought that listening to the podcast after the fact might be better... it wasn't but it was still funny.
You look like a really healthy Arthy Lang.

I listen when I work on things at the computer, and it carries me through like a crystal ship through the clouds.

I rarely listen while:

Attending Funerals
Performing Surgery
Showering

But outside of that there's no bad time.  Do you work out at Werner Hertzog Fitness where joy is not allowed?

We've talked about this before.  I envy you people that don't have word-based work.  I wish I could listen to words while reading and writing different words.

Best Show's great to listen to all the time, especially on subways and buses when people are wondering why you're giggling to yourself and biting your lip.

It's also the ultimate road trip pastime.

move to Los Angeles. It affords you LOTS of time in your car to listen to Best Show podcasts.

While falling asleep is never a great time. You tend to have the craziest dreams of your life.

Also, Maine Man, eh? A fellow Maine FOT?! How exciting!

Are you really from Deep Eastern Maine?! (and yes, Deep was capitalized on purpose)

Not from, but I've lived here longer than some FOT have been alive (twenty-three years).  Though honesty compels me to note that ten of those were in central Maine.

Haha yes, well I apologize for my faux pas. Sarah, it's a pleasure to know there are more FOTs from/in Maine than me, Maine-iac FOT, and Patrick.

Hey, there's Google street view for Lubec.  Now I can finally spy on Sarah.  Also Quoddy mocs are made right near there.  Top notch shoe.

I was in Maine for 15 minutes once.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

You should find that very restful.
