Hello from Ireland!
« on: October 03, 2009, 01:40:11 PM »
Hey FOTs, I'm Gareth from Ireland. I'm a writer, podtrash and (just recently) a standup comedian, and I've just gotten into the best show over the last few months, after years of hearing about it from friends. I'm more of a fan of Tom's random digressions and the shows genuinely insane callers than the Scharpling and Wurster conversations. When Tom starts off on one of his curmudgeonly rants the Best Show is the funniest thing on radio since Blue Jam.

Where in Ireland? I've been to Limerick and Dublin, and rode a train across the country. Have enjoyed visiting the office in Limerick, but I'm not sure that will happen again anytime soon.

Navan, dear God, my uncles from there, and he's married to his first cousin!

I'm from a little village on the East Coast called Laytown, for my sins.

Ha. I think I packaged your premium this summer. Unless there are multiple FMU listeners in Navan.

Laytown? Jaysus. I'm from Beamore. Many's the summer evening I spent playing football in Seafield.

Also, hello, I'm new. Long time, first time.
