I'm coming to America in May
« on: January 11, 2010, 06:59:21 PM »
I bought tickets for Max Fun Con and I've decided to stay in USA for the rest of the week. Where should I go? What should I do? (I'm open to flying to other parts of the country)

Your thread sounds like a threat.

Vegas?

I was just in that den of iniquity.  Is that the city we want as our international ambassador?

Well, the convention he's going to is in CA. I was going to tell him SeaWorld but I figured he'd enjoy the bright lights better. And it does have some history. Women could get quickie divorces out there in the olden days.

But I guess you're right. Especially since he jumped at the pinball museum idea. I guess I don't know Andy from Bath as well as I thought I did. I need to meditate on this.

Maybe this seems too obvious but... on the rare occasions when I get to LA I make a point of setting aside an evening or two for whatever's going on at the Upright Citizens Brigade and/or Largo. Especially the Jon Brion friday night gigs at Largo, though I'm not certain if he's still doing those.
