Tom couldn't be wronger about the XLERATOR hand dryer. It beats the pants off of regular hand dryers at removing water from wet hands. I would install one in my home if I could.

Is that the same as the Dyson one they now have in airports?

I think that's the U-shaped dryer whose usage Tom compared to playing Operation. The XLERATOR looks more like a traditional dryer but it has a jet-engine-like blast of air that actually does the job.

Don't take my word for it... here's NFL legend Terry Bradshaw:

I haven't heard the show yet - was Tom bagging on the XLERATOR? He must not enjoy the feeling of having dry hands, then.
I'm warning you with peace and love.

Tom was dead-on with the Operation comparison. At first I thought those Dyson ones were great, but it's almost impossible to avoid touching the filthwater-encrusted sides.

That was also my experience, which is a shame because they dry your hands brilliantly.  If only you would all disappear like in that Burgess Meredith librarian Twilight Zone ep.
