This could be where the FOT's sheepishly defend things they like that Tom hates.

I will go on record as saying 200 Motels: not too bad.  Especially as far as psychedelic rock'n'roll art-damage movies go.  It's like, you know, better than The Magical Mystery Tour.

Anybody else?

I like the Band's first 3 or so albums.

Not as good as CCR, of course, but worthy.
The only Wire I care about is the one that recorded Pink Flag.

I like meat.  I'm a master butcher, even.  Tom might not like me hacking up aminals.  Oh well.

Also, I am a huge NCAA BBall fan and hate the NBA.

Me, too.  I think the NBA is the worst sports product in the history of the world.  I'd rather watch Spike whip a slave into shape than watch a single second of NBA "action".

I used to be a huge Buckethead fan. Over the last few years, I've grown weary of his overplaying and moved on to better things.

I also heard Tom mention that he hates the Pulaski Skyway. My deepest apologies Mr. Scharpling, I love the Pulaski Skyway. It is so old, so unique (exits that cut through the center of the bridge? UNHEARD OF!), and so dangerous (no acceleration lanes for onramps).

The Pulaski Skyway separates the dead from the living, often quickly and efficiently.

The years have cooled my Tom Waits fandom somewhat, but I'll gladly defend most of his music. I'm not sure why Waits' lack of "credibility" drives so many Beefheart fanatics so nuts. This is supposed to be fun stuff.

I think Ol' 55 is a pretty cool song.

My Morning Jacket is my Tom hates/I love.

I like Dischord records - Beauty Pill and Medications alone make for a great DC rock scene.

I also enjoy Al Green, steak, NCAA hoops, and marijuana.

The second I get sick, you people start coming up with your own opinions on things.

For shame.

Steak, opera, cigarettes, booze, jazz a bit, Tom Waits a bit, Fight Club for one viewing.  I'm sure there's more.

But feel better, Queenie.
