He was on Am I Right, so knowing them he'd probably just clutter up the show with Rush talk and Falcon Beach references (I didn't think they interviewed musicians anyway, weird).

How many bands has the guy played with? Superchunk, Mountain Goats, Bob Mould, New Pornographers, AC Newman, Guided By Voices?

The Best Show has high standards; Tom needs to stick with guests who can hold a job.

If you want a drummer as a guest, what's wrong with Mickey Dolenz? I understand he has a wealth of stories about his experiences with fans at public events.

That guy is supposed to be super-nice. A Buddhist, too.

Mickey Dolenz would be able to explain at last how he's able to play drums oriented at that impossible angle.

Also we could ask him what was Jimi Hendrix like.

First, I hear he's kind of a dick. Second, I think it's John Wooster. He also started an avant-garde performance group in the late 70s, apparently, but had to leave after a fistfight with Willem Dafoe.

I saw them perform "The Hairy Ape."  John Wooster's character was excised like Garfield without Garfield.

I thought he was the American cousin of Bertie Wooster in Wodehouse novels.

If not Wurster at least Maureen Tucker.  She's charmer.  I know this for a fact. I met her.

I would love it if Jon Wurster came on TBS. He could talk about how fun it was to make that crazy video where they all have puppet bodies with long legs. Hey, were they saying "pumping" or replacing that first letter with an h, anyway?

I'll believe that when he saves me from this damnable swan.

So I took the ferry and went to Ikea for lunch and who did I see working the steamtable when I ordred my $1.99 pasta was none other than Wurster. He gave me that EXACT same look like Randy the Ram did in the wrestler when he did not want to be identified when discovered working at the NJ deli in Bayou. Apparenley call screener Pele knows all about this and has been keeping it under raps. Had to share.

Spitzer!  It has been too long.  Don't get nervous, but I was just remembering you with fondness the other day.

Hi Sara! Long time, yes. Just got out of Sing Sing. Thanks for the 'cake'. Feel great. Been catching up on the archives. Have you ever called in? That was your albatross in life, non?
