This should not tempt anyone into reading that Wiki entry who wouldn't otherwise, but:

Harry Knowles?  Hate Pit.

I was looking forward to Cronenberg's A Dangerous Method, with Viggo as Sigmund Freud, but right at the moment I'm sorta reconsidering my interest in anything sexually creepy.

Before reading your post, I got the feeling that 'A Serbian Film' would be the kind of thing that AICN mutants would like just because it was so over-the-top, and how its graphic nature would make it some kind of magical geek secret that The Man doesn't want you to see. Then again, the last time I visited AICN (to read Knowles whine about Patton Oswalt's screed against complacent geek culture in Wired), the banner cartoon was a Human Centipede reference, so yeah.

Having Sean Penn play Larry, of all roles, would have been funnier to me than anything else they could have come up with.  I suspect watching Milk would be impossible now without noticing the creeping influence of Larry Fine on that performance.

Are: Meek's Cutoff, Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives

Are not: Kristen Wiig's Gilly movie (I still predict this will be made)

Sean Penn, of course, could have reused his wig from Carlito's Way.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Piranha 3DD.

I hope that's pronounced "Three Double D".

I'm with you, CWN. I wonder if the rest of Endhiran lives up to that clip, or if we've seen all there is to see of that flick.

Does anybody else think that this could be the summer of superhero burnout? Green Lantern, Thor, Captain America...

The movie going public will probably prove me wrong.

That might happen this year, but if not then it will definitely happen next year.

Yep - Superman end of this year, right? And then some more of that goddamned Batman.

Auntie Christina, I love everything you post on here but you might have broken my heart with your forsaking of Batman. I will admit a large fondness to that fictional character and indeed, the Christopher Nolan movies.

Aw! If it helps, it's more directed at the marketing hype that's coming - like, right around April-May, and going into the summer, I'll be saying, "That goddamned Green Lantern!"

Not sure if this will be a 2011 movie, technically, but I don't wanna start a new thread - Ryan Gosling is gonna be in a Logan's Run remake ... he's one of those guys who is in movies that everybody says are really good but I never get around to watching them for some reason.

However, I will go see a Logans' Run remake.

I like Ryan Gosling a bunch, but his involvement is just a bonus, 'cause I'd watch any Logan's Run remake going.
