If anyone is interested, I interviewed Tom about The Best Show/a few other things a week ago, and it's now online;

That was great! Dudez A Plenti! Not sure if I've seen it before, so funny. Tom shouldn't shy away from acting on screen/stage. I think he would be awesome at stand up comedy...obviously!

Tom Scharpling being interviewed in my all-time favorite fanzine! It doesn't get better than that, save for maybe Egghead doing a Take Me Out to the Ballgame 7-inch to promote Zisk.

The first Dudez-A-Plenti sketch is one of my all-time favorite Conan bits. I don't remember seeing this one but this is great. Funny story about that, too.

Great job as always, Joe!

Nice interview.  I'm glad you got some Stereolaffs info out of him.

New album *and* a new shirt?

Awesome. I hope my dream of a Sister Shelia hoodie comes true.
If I tried, I could probably make at least six figures for shaking my moneymaker.

I posted about Dudez-A-Plenti a couple years ago ... I was watching lots of old Conan on YouTube, and I stumbled upon Tom's appearance with no foreknowledge. All-time awesome surprise experience.

Great stuff, Joe!  (This also reminded me I've had Mike's book sitting here since that reading, waiting to be read).

Thanks guys! I somehow forgot to mention the Scharpling and Wurster update, which is probably the most exciting part for me (I just got hit with a 24 hour head cold, so I've been out of it the past few days).
