So Massa's Tavern is like Cheers, but with transvestites and a make-out couch in the basement?

Thanks Mike! Looks like you've got a new career as an oral historian.

For the record I posted that before I heard the downstairs couch story. No pun was intended.

I love the sentimental Cheers/Flaming Moe's piano music at the beginning ... it makes the perversity of everything that follows all that much more hilarious.

I love how what somebody else might call an "oral history project," Mike calls an "internet reality TV show."

This was fantastic, Mike. I lost it when Joe tickled the mental patient under his chin causing him to flip out and break his restraints. Can't wait for the next installment.

I enjoyed it, but I will admit to getting sick to my stomach when Mike laughed at the guy's story about seeing a dog thrown out of a ninth-story window.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Take it easy, MOS. Of course, I wasn't laughing at that specific act. I don't condone cruelty to animals or think it's funny. My family has owned dogs since I was a kid. What I was laughing at is the fact that human beings think they are civilized and yet this is what they are capable of doing.

I loved this Mike. It's sad to think of all the amazing stories in similar bars that will just be lost forever.
