Best Show Grail Quest

JeffertonFromTX:
Hey, guys. Long time lurker, first time poster. After a pretty great interaction with fellow FOTs on the Facebook group, I was encouraged to post on here, which I'm still nervous about but I'm excited to start talking to people that actually know about the Best Show since no one in my town does.

ANYWAYS, I got into the Best Show thanks to Matt Fraction's tweets and in-studio appearances but I started right about the time that it was announced that it was ending so I listened to maybe the last dozen episodes or so in podcast form and then dove into the archives. Currently I'm attempting to listen to every episode that has a pop up player, starting with 10/7/2008 and as of today I am on the episode from 2/10/2010. Basically what I am aiming for is a type of quixotic binge listen to every episode available to me.

My questions for you guys though is did you go through the same time when you started listening? Did you get a taste and then couldn't stop? What do I have to look forward to? Give me your highs and your lows. Also, is there any other stuff that is somewhat related to the Best Show that I should listen to? Obviously Rot Rock and Rule which I haven't gotten around to listening to just yet, but what else am I missing as a novice to all this?

I would suggest you check out the music videos that Tom has directed, and he also has done a handful of podcast appearances and those are worth seeking out!

there's a facebook group?!?

akaJudge:
a friend at work told me the show was funny and I listened to an episode or two that was current at the time, around 2004. I got hooked and started from the first ep in the archives and just went up from there :)

I'm also a long-time lurker, first time poster. I'm just glad to find that fellow fans of Chuck Woolery are out there on the Internet.

What?
