Introducing the Newbridge Navigator
« on: September 13, 2014, 03:41:18 PM »
Hey everyone,

I've been a big fan of the show since I was first made aware of its existence a few years ago. I've been trying out a web development framework and decided to make the website subject something that has brought me so much joy over the years - The Best Show.

You can search for an episode, view episodes by appearing characters, queue up episodes in a playlist and more. It's still a work in progress: there are still quite a few entries to be added.

You can check it out below.

Ugh, python. Should have used rails.

Seriously though, this is excellent! You can link to the clips in the pop-up player with a start time.  For example:

Awesome, I'll look at sticking that in
Edit: Site has been updated to link to time in the popup player. Thanks for the tip!

This is incredible!

Is it crazy, JRSly, to envision a day when your mind-melting map of Newbridge is joined up to kleinsbeer's Newbridge Navigator?

The thought of these two projects possibly coming together, reminds me of several noted historical occasions when peanut butter met up with chocolate:

How are you doing the tagging? Are you keying the times in from Omar's recaps or something?

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

At the moment I'm just coming up with tags myself that I think would be relevant to a character/show from listening to the shows.  Most of the appearance times are referenced from the Newbridgctionary http://buffcoat.blogspot.co.uk/
